Rape as a Weapon Of War

Read an eye-opening MSNBC story about strong Congo women speaking out about the atrocities they've endured. Babies as young as 8-months old have been raped and mutilated. Four year old girls are gang-raped by neighbors. Women's families are killed before their eyes, then they find themselves held as sex slaves. But many are finally breaking the taboo about not talking about the violence, thanks to a campaign spearheaded by the U.N. Children's Fund, working with local groups to get women speak out about these crimes. HEAL Africa's hospital is featured in this story, as these doctor's try to piece together the women's bodies, hearts and minds. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29719277/
